Description:
Spanish natural slate roof in Reigate, Surrey. Includes soffit ventilation a mechanically fixed dry ridge system through out. (all lead welding has been done by @justleadworkshop prefabricated in there workshop then fitted on site by ourselves).
We recently completed a roofing project in Reigate, although it was accompanied by significant delays and setbacks. Nonetheless, I am relieved to finally see the completion of this roof.
For this project, we used Spanish natural slates of Cupa R14 grade. We also installed all-new UPVC fascia, soffits, and guttering, incorporating fascia and soffit ventilation. A mechanically fixed dry ridge system was implemented throughout the roof, and we installed brand-new Velux windows with accompanying flashings. Additionally, we carried out minor brick replacements and added new flaunching and C caps to the chimney pots.
Most conventional roof solutions have a life expectancy of around 30 years and investing in slate and having it installed correctly can boost you selling power. Also, they can last up to 150 years, great for forever homes. Check out the workmanship on our latest install in the images.
